Gifts for Kaylee

These are some of the things that I received at the baby shower as well as a few other gifts that friends of the family have given us already.

Week 32 Update and Family Baby Shower

Well, third trimester is officially a lot harder than the other two, which is why I have been slow to update.  I'm more tired and have to rest more frequently than before.  I've also been having some Braxton Hicks contractions as of this past week, which takes a lot out of me as well.  On top of that my nesting instincts are in full force, which is quite contradictory to my body's signal to rest frequently.  When I'm not resting, I find myself cleaning and organizing uncontrollably!  However, I know things could be a lot worse and am grateful that is all I have to complain about.  :)

This past weekend as I entered week 32 of my pregnancy my family threw me a baby shower, and it was so wonderful!  My late grandfather's brother's wife held it at her house and put a lot of hard work into it.  It was so beautiful and wonderful that I really wish Kaylee was here to have enjoyed it!  I received a lot of a nice baby gifts (which I promptly organized the next day....nesting!...haha), and it was so nice to get to see all of my family once more before Kaylee arrives.  Here are a few pictures of the event:

Clothes for Kaylee

I think the one thing everyone looks forward to when having a little girl is the clothes shopping.  My family is no exception.  I had held off for 7 months without buying much at all in the way of clothes, but I gave in at a JCPenney sale the other day.  It was a good sale in my defense.

Here's what I got...most of it is newborn and 3 month clothing because that is what I currently don't have much of at this point.

And here are a few things Kaylee's Grandma might have already purchased her as well....she didn't restrain herself nearly as long as I did, haha!  Most of these are 6-12 months, though, when it will be a bit warmer.
